Membership is a way for JCJ to receive a small amount of regular funds every year, to ensure that we have enough money to support at least a few special projects annually. As we are a small donation-run organisation, the annual memberships are vital to achieving our mission.
Members will be reminded to renew once a year and are invited to our Annual General Meeting where we vote in the committee elections and in any decisions of the AGM. If you wish to be further involved, you can be nominated for a committee position. Members are also allowed to attend committee meetings to help discuss potential projects.
JCJ committee members pay a higher membership fee to cover all the administration costs, such as maintaining our website and room hire for meetings.
